Strangely this one started with a farewell. Our first task was to dismantle an old pub, carefully dressing and sizing the stone for use on the new dwellings. The footings were straightforward but making sure the building used all the reclaimed materials specified by the council, whilst making sure it met the relevant building regulations, was the task on this job. Once we had the walls up and the roof on, we completed three identical fit-outs to our client specification and landscape three gardens.
The scheme included a new adoptable road, which along with all the surrounding retaining and boundary walls, we finished in 20,000 block pavers to meet Highways Sheffield’s approval. The road was successfully adopted and shows no signs of moving years later. An enjoyable part of the job for our paving team.
